Dr. Julie Hodges

Senior Clinical Psychologist, PBA approved supervisor

Julie is a warm and experienced clinical psychologist who also holds a research position at the Parenting and Family Support Centre at the University of Queensland. After many years in Brisbane, she’s now enjoying life closer to the beach. Julie has supported countless parents, helping them navigate the challenges of raising children and fostering strong family connections. She’s also passionate about working with individuals to help them live meaningful, fulfilling lives. Julie’s research focuses on the wellbeing and self-regulation of children and adolescents, and how strong partnerships between schools and families can improve both educational outcomes and overall wellbeing for young people, as well as supporting teacher wellbeing.

Julie is not currently taking on new clients.

Annette D'Avila

D'Avila Clinical Psychology, Senior Clinical Psychologist, PBA approved supervisor 

Annette is dedicated to providing quality therapy, assessment, and report writing to Fraser Coast residents.  Annette uses evidence based interventions to provide effective and thoughtful therapy for clients of all ages.  Annette also supervises provisional and early career psychologists.

May provides supervision for mental health professionals who (1) want to stay vitally and effectively engaged in their profession and (2) want to learn more about reflective practice, functional contextual approaches, and psychological principles.

May sees therapy and assessment clients at her clinic, the Made it Clinic.

Heitor D'Avila

D'Avila Clinical Psychology, Clinical Psychologist

​Heitor (pronounced "Ay-tor") is a clinical psychologist with experience in private practice and the public sector. Heitor received his Honour's degree in psychology in 2020 and his Master's degree in clinical psychology in 2022 from Central Queensland University. Both qualifications were awarded with First Class standing.

James Bierton

Psychologist

James is a registered psychologist who completed an undergraduate degree with honours at the University of the Sunshine Coast, followed by an internship. Since 2020, James has provided mental health services in disability, community, and employment settings. He has a strong interest in working with Complex PTSD and trauma developed from adverse childhood experiences, as well as the neuroscience of mental health and how this informs development and psychological intervention of mental health disorders.

Paula Boyle

Psychologist

Paula enjoys working effectively with clients across the lifespan. She considers each person's unique goals and helps them focus on taking steps forward. Paula is proficient at assessment and therapy for children and adults. She has experience working with children who have developmental differences and she is developing a confidence-building social-skills program for children with anxiety and autism.

Brigitte Jensen

Psychologist

Brigitte helps adults undergoing rehabilitation in managing their depression, anxiety, and pain. She also works collaboratively and calmly with adolescents and adults to maintain good mental health.  Brigitte is passionate about psychological service access for small communities.

Greg Currie

Senior Clinical Psychologist

Greg is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in a variety of settings. He has extensive experience working with clients with PTSD, as well as working with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Greg believes the most important aspect of any therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Greg works with adults.

Sonja Jameson

Clinical Psychologist

Sonja enjoys working with adults and older adults with issues including anxiety, depression, self esteem, assertive communication, building healthy relationships and bereavement. Sonja works from a bio-psycho-social perspective, with a focus on how the nervous system responds to perceived threat. She has a special interest in women's health, and works to support women through the lifespan. ​

Yvette Kerr

Psychologist, Clinical Registrar

Yvette Kerr is a registered psychologist who is currently undertaking the clinical registrar program. She has professional experience working with mental health, disabilities, child protection, prison populations, and vocational services. She has provided assessments, interventions, and care to both youth and adult clients. Yvette enjoys cooking, Korean drama’s, and spending time with her boisterous labradors.

Kevin Hancock

Counsellor, ACA Supervisor

Kevin provides person-centered counselling to men who are dealing with stress, chronic health issues, anxiety and low mood.  He helps his clients talk through their issues and develop healthy life habits.  Kevin also works with children and adolescents to develop their communication and self confidence. Kevin is a member of the ACA College of Supervisors for counsellor supervision up to Level 2.

Tash completes the dynamic duo that is 'Team TNT'. She brings a strong customer service background and attention to detail ensuring all feel welcome and comfortable. She enjoys following up with every inquiry and keeps an eye out for incoming referrals.
